Sikkim Tours and Travels established in the year 1987- is one of the oldest and leading companies and the first tour operator recognized by Government of Sikkim.

Various travel magazines and travel guidebooks have recommended us for our excellence in services and proper information to travelers. Some of the international books are, Lonely Planet Publication, India Guide, Indian Himalaya, and Footprint, Sikkim A Travelers Guide. 

 Lukendra Rasaily man behind the company is the pioneer of tourism in Sikkim. He received education in University of Delhi. He has vast experience in trekking, rock climbing and photography. Founded Travel Agents Association of Sikkim - nurtured it while holding various important posts and contributed large extent of information wholeheartedly in Sikkim's Tourism Master Plan.  He also served as an elected member of Gram Panchayat (Local self Government). He also founded Sikkim Table Tennis Association, Sikkim Nature Photographers' Society and at present he is General Secretary of Travel Agents Association of Sikkim and Secretary-Sikkim Ornithological Society. 

Sikkim Tours & Travels is campaigner for responsible tourism. Company is backed by young, energetic, hospitable and trained staffs. The company is specializing in trekking and bird watching also organizes cultural tours, botanic tours, monastic tours, photography, mountain biking, alpine tour, eco-tourism and honeymoon tours.

 Sikkim Tours and Travels is also engaged in Environmental Camps and treks for  Schools, Ngos, sponsors, corporate executives etc.  

In the year 2005, Sikkim Tours and Travels organized Environmental Education Camp for Schools of Sikkim.  Environmental  Trekking Programme was organized for fifty five school children ranging in six years to fifteen years of age from Banglore (India) in collaboration with Woody Adventures. All children trekked to the height of 4030 meters in Sikkim Himalaya. Also conducted birdlife and its conservation programme in collaboration with Sikkim Development Foundation and Sikkim Ornithological Society as part of Camp Sikkim exercise which was funded by Australian Foundation For the Peoples of Asia and Pacific (AFAP) well trained staff are involved in managing the camps. Most senior trekking guides, kitchen staff and others participate in providing required services. Most of the guides and kitchen staffs have done extensive trekking and camping in Sikkim, Nepal, Ladakh and other places in the Himalayas. Most staffs are children friendly, caring and smiling.
